Answer

The advantage of Environmental science study program is the expression form of lectures and diversity of events. Students, starting from the first course, learn to express, justify and defend their opinion. This kind of study process helps to prepare for real life and work. Some of the lectures take place outside the university - students go to waste stations, heat and power stations and industrial enterprises. The aims of those study visits are to understand how the theoretical study material looks in a real life and learn about the problems in enterprises. During the study visits also same data and materials are collected that are analyzed later in the practical works.
Part of practical works is held in the laboratory (see below information about Environmental Monitoring Laboratory).
Lectures are optimally divided so you can learn not only the technical knowledge, but also be competent about relevant environmental policy, legal and ethical issues. The knowledge is important for you to become a valuable professional. We have chosen to give some lectures in English, because we believe that it is important to encourage students to use the language in proper technical field.
