Origins of Environmental Impact Assesment (EIA). EIA procedure: legislative,policy and "middle ground" options. Project screening for EIA:methods and practice. Scope studies for Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). Preparation of EIS: planning. public participation. Review of EIS. Multidisciplinary team management: project management framework selection of study team, study approach and management. Examples of project EIS.

The goal of the course "Environmental Impact Assessment" is to provide students theoretical knowledge, practical process, terminology and methods of performing and producing an EIA.
