The main task of our Institute is to privide and maintain study programs for bachelor, master, and Phd program students.
Together with this task intensive research activities are being performed using laoratories of our Institute and cooperating with other research institutions and industries.
The main task of the Cliamate Technology Laoratory is to reduce climate changes applying new technological approaches: use of renewable energy sources (wind, solar, biofuel), efficient energy use at the energy producer side, in energy transportation, and at end-user side.
Teh lab's team has a long experience in heating boiler energy efficiency improvement, energy efficiency increase in industrial processes, and in the field of lighting energy efficiency. |
| The name of the Laboratory is borrowed from the EU documents called Green Paper. The main activities performed in the laoratory are related to environmental policy research, development of environmentally friendly energy, solution for climate policy issues, and development of green strategies. Also, consultations for governmental and nongovernmental setors representatives are provided. |
Environmental Monitoring Laboratory was launched in September, 2005.
The main aim of the laboratory is to provide technical facilities for the students lab activities, scientific experiments, and researches.
The laboratory is equipped with latest tools and equipment that allow to perform measurments, researches, and modelling of different pollution types:
- atmospheric pollution,
- pollution produced by transport, industries, and energy producers,
- influence of heating systems to the environment,
- ecological state of water bodies, and other.
Part of the equipment is purchased with cofinancing from EU funds. |
