EnergoKomandas2 project is initiated within the short film contest between the 16 Member States of EU. EnergoKomandas2 project aims to promote energy conservation in houses and the climate in Europe, supported by the European Commission program "Intelligent Energy for Europe".

Contest: We are interested in short films about climate change and energy savings in households. What individuals can do to reduce the environmental impact? As our lifestyles affect the environment? How can we save energy in homes? Why should we engage in climate protection? Creative, serious, funny, original - all kinds of movies are welcome! Deadline for submission is July 30, 2012.

EnergoKomandas2 short film winner* will receive a prize of € 2,000!

Guidelines

Genre: all genres: experimental, documentary, animation, fiction, ..........
Target group: All - students (film directors, operators, etc.), professionals, amateurs, ...........
Length: 20 sec. to 5 minutes, not shorter, not longer.
Movie format: DVD. Sent copies will not be returned.
Language: Short films will be screened in various EU Member States, therefore, silent films would be best suitable, but you can safely submit short films in English or original language with English subtitles.
Application Form: In addition to the subbmited film, please send the completed application form. Only a complete set (copy of the short filma and the application form) will be accepted! Application form can be downloaded here or found on  EnergoKomandas2 website: www.energokomandas.lv
