2nd Latvian Forum on Green Energy
2nd Latvian Forum on Green Energy is organized by the Ministry of Economics of Latvia in collaboration with Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Riga Technical University, Ministry of Environment, and Ministry of Agriculture. Forum will be held on May 19th, 2010 at Riga Technical University, 1 Kaļķu Street . The main discussions are intended to be about increasing the use of green energy in national economy of Latvia and draft law of renewable energy resources.
The forum will be opened by minister of economics Artis Kampars (JL) who will present main principles of developing the law of renewable energy resources to participants of the forum.
Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairperson of the board Žaneta Jaunzeme–Grende will present perspective and role of green energy in future development of national economy of Latvia.
Participants of the forum will be introduced to research „Energy policy of Latvia: on the way to sustainable and transparent energy sector?”. Presentation will be read by energy expert of Latvia Juris Ozoliņš.
The main attention in Green Energy 2nd Forum of Latvia will be paid to discussion among participants and experts. The moderator of discussion will be Edijs Bošs.
Participation in forum is free of charge.
